MtG - Zendikar Rising Trailer - FX Concept Art

Earlier this year I had the great pleasure to work with Axis Animation on the trailer for the new Magic the Gathering set: "Zendikar Rising"

Unfortunately I can't show the actual concept art, so here are some shots where you can see those elements I designed.
I was responsable for designing the effects like the destruction parts, the strom, the magical weapons of the characters and the magic explosion at the end. It is always so fun to think about those effects and design how they build up and evolve.
It is so great to see how everything came together!
